This kind of price range is certainly pushing them into the mainstream market. With the typical price of a Radeon X700 Pro (128MB) being $120 US or less, they certainly offer an exceptional bang for your buck. This Radeon X700 Pro was initially quite a poor value product, sharing a similar price tag to that of the GeForce 6600 GT. Given that the GeForce 6600 GT offered much better performance it was the preferred choice.
