Windows 11 TPM 2.0 understøttet Gigabyte bundkort

Til dem af jer der ser frem til, at opgradere computeren til det nye Microsoft Windows 11-operativsystem, kan vi glæde jer med at fortælle, at Gigabyte har bekræftet de bundkort, der understøtter Windows 11 TPM 2.0. I en pressemeddelelse, der blev offentliggjort i denne uge, har Gigabyte bekræftet, at BIOS på følgende bundkort: Intel X299, C621, C232, C236, C246, 200, 300, 400, 500 lineups samt AMD TRX40, 300, 400, 500 er TPM. 2.0 klar.

Meddelelsen betyder, at enhver computer, der er udstyret med disse bundkort, er i stand til at komme forbi Microsofts ”upgrade verification system”, når Windows 11 lanceres senere på året. Microsoft har også lanceret en gratis opgradering til berettigede computere, som vil være tilgængelig tidligt i 2022. Microsoft har også frigivet nye oplysninger om minimums pc-krav til installation af Windows 11 og har foretaget nogle få justeringer af den understøttede hardware samt understøttelse af Windows 11 TPM-krav.
