PC er den mest rentable platform for Ubisoft

Ubisoft har delt sine salgstal for første kvartal af 2019-20, dvs. de tre måneder, der sluttede den 30. juni 2019, og afslørede, at pc'en for øjeblikket er den mest rentable platform. Ifølge det franske selskab i 1. kvartal 2019-20 var pc'en ansvarlig for 34% af sin indtjening, der oversteg alle andre platforme.

PS4 var anden med 31%, mens Xbox One og smartphones var henholdsvis tredje og fjerde. Det er værd at påpege, at sidste år var PS4 langt højere end pc (38% for PS4 mod 24% for pc'en).

Ubisoft har også afsløret, at Assassin's Creed Odyssey oplevede en meget kraftig stigning i det daglige engagement, PRI og salesthrough sammenlignet med Assassin's Creed Origins i første kvartal, og at Division 2 var branchens største hit siden begyndelsen af året.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint was highly visible among content creators and earned a record-high sentiment score out of all E3 games. Watch Dogs: Legion made a huge impression thanks to its innovative gameplay, putting the franchise back in the spotlight. Our games line-up for fiscal 2019-20 – which also includes Rainbow Six Quarantine and Gods & Monsters – is one of our strongest in the last five years.
